A little bit about me

When I left school and had to make a decision about what to do next – my mum gave me a good piece of advice – Do something you love, and you will be successful and happy. I decided on hairdressing as I love being creative and meeting people and I wanted to create hairstyles to suit individual personalities.

I fully qualified in NVQ levels 1,2 & 3 and worked as a senior stylist at Walsall college, continuing my education part-time. I got my teaching degree in 2010 and am now a fully qualified Assessor & lecturer. Since the birth of my first child Poppy, I have continued to work part-time at the college.

Over the years, many of my friends and family have had special occasions, I have been called on to create the perfect hairstyle for them, weddings, christenings, proms, anniversaries and even my nan’s diamond wedding anniversary – you are never too old to enjoy a make-over and being made to feel special.

I enjoyed being part of their special day so I decided to start my own business specialising in this area. I believe that your hair should reflect your personality. We can discuss your ideas together and create the perfect hairstyle to fit the occasion, in the intimacy of your own surroundings or at the venue of your choice.

I have many years of experience working in a salon, teaching and entering competitions; I have created a wide variety of different styles to suit the client’s needs. If you can imagine it, we can create it together. I offer free advice and consultation to discuss your requirements; it is important that you have complete trust in the person who will be an important part of your big day and feel that they understand the images you have in your mind on how you want to look on the day.
